The Board of Directors approved a rate increase to become effective February 1, 2022. The current monthly minimum for System 1, 3 & 4 is $34.00 per Month (No water included). The current monthly minimum for System 4 Phase 2 & System 5 is $44.00 per Month (No water included). The cost for water is $7.25 per (1,000) thousand gallons for all water used.

As of February 1, 2022:

The monthly minimum for System 1, 3 & 4 will increase to $36.00 per Month (No water included). The monthly minimum for System 4 Phase 2 & System 5 will increase to $46.00 per Month (No water included). The cost for water will increase to $7.50 per (1,000) thousand gallons for all water used.

Due to the continuing increase in cost for the operation and maintenance our system the board determined that the above increases was needed.

As we continue to make improvements to the overall system to meet the growing demand, we have applied for grant and loan dollars for those improvements, those funds also require reserves. The increase in the monthly minimum will be used to fund a portion of the improvements and fund the required reserves.

The Board of Directors analyzed the financial situation of the District and made an intensive review of all possible alternatives, then made decision to implement the rate increase.
